SEAT MÓ is studying reaching several cities on the Spanish Mediterranean

Shared electric mobility is important in many Spanish cities. The aim is to strike a balance between ease of use and efficiency, which is why this model is becoming a very popular option for many companies. SEAT is one of those brands that has entered this market with the SEAT MÓ brand and, after succeeding in reaching a city like Barcelona, wants to continue expanding to other Spanish cities.

The cities the company has set its sights on are hotspots with a large influx of tourists. Valencia, Menorca, Mallorca, Algeciras and Tarifa are some of these new locations where this carsharing company will provide its service. But, although the services will be very similar in all of them, there is one place where the service will be expanded.

SEAT MÓ’s offering in Menorca will include all the electric mobility services offered by the brand, including the rental of eKickScooters, eScooters, 100% electric cars and even a rental service for 100% electric boats. Everything is managed through the SEAT MÓtosharing app or the SEAT MÓ website.

In the case of Menorca, the rental conditions may be the same as in the other places where the brand operates, but in addition to offering rental by the minute or by the hour, it is also possible to rent for days or weeks. In this way, both single-seater vehicles and cars, and even 100% electric boats, can be used to get to know the island well during the entire stay.

The electric boats are supplied by the company Rebot Yachts, which is responsible for converting traditional boats into electric-powered ones. These boats use the same battery system as the scooter SEAT MÓ 125. This gives them a range of around eight hours. In addition, users can operate these boats with a licence.

In addition to this important step in the expansion of SEAT MÓ in Menorca, in the other cities the service will be limited to renting scooters SEAT MÓ 125. The service can be found in Sitges; in Inca and Palma, on Mallorca; and in Tarifa and Algeciras, in Cádiz.

Furthermore, to continue its expansion, MÓ has signed a collaboration agreement with AVIS to rent the scooter MÓ 125 in Dénia, Marbella and Cartagena.

With these moves, the Spanish brand aims to reach the main tourist hotspots along the Mediterranean coast and offer its services to both tourists and residents of these localities.
