Second lap of the Lamborghini Huracán Performante, 7:07.99 at the Nürburgring
The Lamborghini Huracán Performante managed to beat the Nürburgring record for a production car until the Porsche 911 GT2 RS snatched it away. Now it ventures onto The Ring to achieve another fantastic result.
The Lamborghini Huracán Performante is one of the fastest production cars in the world, so much so that it held the Nürburgring record in this category until the new Porsche 911 GT2 RS later took it.

Thanks to an incredible time of 6:52:01, the Lamborghini Performante was able to beat rivals such as the Aventador SV and the Porsche 918 no less, achieving the best time ever set by a production car on the “green hell”.
Since then, the Porsche 911 GT2 RS set a new record with an impressive time of 6:47:3. However, it was the Italian manufacturer once again that would claim the title of holding, to date, the production car lap record at the Nürburgring, thanks to the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ, which achieved the impressive figure of 6:44:95.

Returning to the Huracán Performante, SportAuto magazine had the opportunity to take a few laps with the SVJ in an attempt to approach the times officially set.
Although it failed to come anywhere near the 6 minutes and 52 seconds of the record, the video and the run through the green hell are spectacular and well worth watching.
With a respectable time of 7 minutes and 8 seconds using Pirelli P Zero Trofeo R tyres, the Lamborghini Performante once again demonstrates its sportiness under perfect conditions, which have nothing to do with a promotion by the manufacturer itself.

During the lap, the brand-new supercar often exceeds 250 km/h and on the straight it even goes past 300 km/h.
Below we leave you the video of the lap so you can enjoy it, but before doing so, remember to put on your headphones and turn the volume all the way up so you don’t miss a detail of the monstrous V10 engine it boasts:
