Skoda Octavia Sport, prices and range of the new trim
Skoda has launched the new Sport trim for its best-selling saloon: a sporty design, generous equipment and a competitive price are its formula

The Skoda Octavia range has been expanded with the arrival of the new Sport trim for the Spanish market. A truly complete range that now includes a sportier and more attractive variant without having to opt for the RS version of the Octavia that we already tested, which costs more.
One of the key novelties of the new Sport trim is the number of engines it can be equipped with. From the plug-in hybrid version to petrol and diesel engines. With this, the Sport trim becomes a great alternative if you are looking for a good balance between styling, equipment and price.
The Skoda Octavia was offered with the Active, Ambition, Style and RS trims. Now the new Sport trim sits between the Ambition and Style trims, and can be specified on both the liftback body and the Combi body, the highly versatile estate version.

More sporty exterior
As for its exterior, the new Skoda Octavia Sport stands out for its sportier look thanks to new black elements such as the front grille, mirrors and rear spoiler.
The alloy wheels it comes fitted with as standard are Velorum alloys of 16 inches, which can be increased to 18 inches thanks to the options catalogue available within this trim.

The full LED headlights and dynamic indicators are another of its equipment highlights, giving great visibility in low-light conditions. The new trim includes Lane Assist lane change assistant, Tempomat, Adaptive Cruise Control -up to 210 km/h-, emergency braking system, rear-view camera, Sunset roof, Side Assist, two-zone climate control and keyless start, among others.
Careful interior
Inside, we find sporty seats with height and lumbar support adjustment, a multifunction steering wheel trimmed in leather, adjustable for height and reach, with paddle shifters, LED ambient lighting, aluminium pedals, an interior mirror with anti-dazzle function, and a 10-inch infotainment system compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

Engines and price
Currently three engines are available for the new Skoda Octavia Sport, all paired with a DSG automatic gearbox.
The first configuration is a 1.5-litre TSI engine producing 150 CV with 48-volt mild hybrid technology (MHEV), which earns it the ECO label from the DGT. If we want this engine, the price starts at 30,890 euros for the standard version and from 31,590 euros for the Combi version.
The second available configuration is the 2.0-litre TDI diesel producing 150 CV, starting at 32,790 euros for the standard version and from 33,490 euros for the Combi version.
Last but not least, we have a 1.4-litre TSI plug-in hybrid producing 204 CV and a 6-speed DSG gearbox instead of the 7-speed fitted to the other engines already mentioned. It carries the DGT 0 environmental badge and its price starts at 37,230 euros for the standard version and from 38,020 euros for the Combi version.
