Small changes for the 2016 range of the Toyota GT86

Toyota Spain launches the 2016 range of the GT86, its sports car with a four-cylinder horizontally opposed boxer engine, 2.0 litres and 200 hp, with some small changes. These novelties are presented in several sections, such as the mechanics, the exterior design and the cabin finishes. In addition, it is already available at the Official Dealer Network of Toyota Spain from 32,300 euros.
Regarding its exterior design, the one already known until now is maintained, except for the audio system antenna, which is now of the “shark fin” type. Its location, as before, is at the rear end of the roof, although the previous one was of a conventional design and larger in size.
In the cabin, the novelties affect the materials covering the dashboard, which are now carbon-fibre-look, and the centre console, which now includes an armrest between the seats.

Its marketing will be limited to a single equipment level, a Sport finish which will only offer us the option of a mixed leather and Alcántara upholstery and the navigation system, with the choice between the manual gearbox variant and the automatic version. Standard equipment also includes a new tyre pressure sensor.
Regarding the engine, the 200 hp boxer engine has been modified to comply with the Euro 6 emissions standard. In addition, there are modifications to the suspension and steering. These small adjustments make the GT86 even more effective in sporty driving, increasing stability and improving cornering.
Its starting price, which stands at 32,300 euros, but Toyota launches an exclusive financing campaign of 20,000 euros at a 0% nominal interest rate, something that we find sensational and with which you can get a sports car with a 200 hp boxer engine, rear-wheel drive and a low centre of gravity, as well as limited weight.
