Southvan Allrounder, the camper version of the Ford Transit for the whole family
The Ford Transit gets a leisure and free-time makeover thanks to the German company Southvan, serving all of Europe.

Camper versions of commercial vans are more fashionable than ever. There are models that lend themselves to conversion and pass through the hands of several workshops that turn them into one of these practical leisure vehicles. The Ford Transit is one of them, and this time we show you the work carried out by Southvan, a German converter.
The Southvan Allrounder is based on a Ford Transit, which has been fitted to carry up to nine people, although it can only accommodate four people to sleep. If there are more occupants, they have to use an outdoor tent to sleep. Even so, this is a camper designed for a family, and its equipment is prepared for that, to be the family leisure vehicle.

Modular interior
The interior of this camper van is modular. That is, seats can be added or removed in the rear. These are slightly smaller than in the commercial model, as this frees up space for the camper equipment. In the rear, a two-berth bed can be set up, but there is one more bed. This one unfolds from the roof and allows two other people to sleep comfortably under the outer canvas.

It has a kitchen, which is mounted on rails. This means it can be used both inside and outside the vehicle. This creates more space inside and allows you to live comfortably within. It doesn’t have much more equipment, but it is a very practical camper vehicle that can offer many adventures and hours of rest.
This conversion of the Ford Transit is offered in three versions: Camper Trail, Camper Sport and Camper Limited. The price starts at 62,990 euros in Germany, although the price rises depending on the version chosen. The highest specification offers a larger fridge, sink, heating system and a power generator.
