Spider-Man gets into an Audi A8 in Spider-Man: Homecoming ahead of its release

Cars and cinema. Cinema and cars. Two worlds that are destined to move forward together, because one provides great cars so the film’s protagonists can get from one place to another, while the other offers an unbeatable showcase for viewers to see up close the models about to be launched. The Audi A8 is almost ready to reach the market, but it still has to clear some of the requirements needed before the model can receive the green light.

In Spider-Man: Homecoming, the new film starring the young Tom Holland and Robert Downey Jr. tells the story of the popular Marvel hero. The film features a unit of the Audi A8 L, driven by actor and director Jon Favreau, who will take Peter Parker’s character to his destination. And in those scenes we’ll get a glimpse of the car’s final look, since the front and one side of the car can be clearly seen, something we have not yet been able to see in photos.

The A8’s technology, also a star

The Audi A8 will be presented on July 11, but first it will appear on the big screen. The technology equipped in the Audi A8 also plays a role in some of the scenes. Above all, these are the driver assistance systems: Happy Hogan, the character played by Jon Favreau, lets go of the steering wheel while driving on the motorway and the car continues on its way without any problems. Audi has other models in the film, as other characters will take the wheel of some of the German brand’s most powerful and attractive models. This is nothing new, as the brand’s models have already appeared in other Marvel-produced films. Robert Downey Jr., in his role as Tony Stark, will drive an Audi R8 V10 Spyder, while the protagonist will get behind the wheel of a Audi TT Roadster, although all eyes will surely be on the Audi A8, which will be presented in Barcelona on July 11. But before that, it will be on screens around the world accompanying the blaugrana hero on his adventures.
