Hyundai i30 Family Range / versions
The Hyundai i30 Wagon has arrived, and this is how it is manufactured in the Czech Republic
This version of the Hyundai i30, aimed at family users, is manufactured at the brand’s plant in the Czech Republic, and a video shows us how it is made

To meet the needs of the European market, Hyundai has two plants on the continent. One of them is located in Nošovice, one of the industrial centres of the Czech Republic. This plant is producing the Hyundai i30, which features a new generation that replaces the one from 2012 and will represent the new direction of the brand in Europe.
The new Hyundai i30 Wagon was presented shortly after the five-door version and showed us the most versatile version of the model, offering a car designed with the family in mind, with a body that seeks to create more interior space. To do so, it has a length of 4,585 mm and a wheelbase of 2,650 mm, similar to the standard version of the model, but with a larger boot that is better suited to the use this version is intended for.

Boot capacity increases to 602 litres, rising to 1,650 litres when the rear seats are folded down. In the video accompanying this article you can see how this version of the model is manufactured at the Nošovice plant, with the assembly of the different parts of the car, which takes shape almost automatically.
The new Hyundai i30 has been tested at Nürburgring, where it achieved good performance on track. It also features a good number of driver assistance systems that help the driver stay in control during journeys, as you can discover in this earlier article.
As for the engines available for this version of the Hyundai i30 Wagon, we can talk about two petrol engines and one diesel. The first is a 1.4 T-GDI unit with 140 CV of power, and the new 1.0-litre T-GDI three-cylinder engine, which delivers 120 CV. The diesel option is the 1.6-litre turbo engine with four cylinders, available in three variants with 90 CV, 110 CV and 136 CV of power.
