SSC Tuatara 2019, a car with 1,750 CV that will arrive in August to surprise with its power
The SSC Tuatara 2019 will reach the market in August and promises a unique driving experience thanks to its impressive 1,750 CV of power and its look

Supercars are those cars that make us dream of getting behind the wheel. The dream of driving one of these machines is always there, even though we know that comfort may not be the strong point of these cars. Speed and power take center stage, and that is where we know we could fully enjoy the SSC Tuatara 2019. This supercar was unveiled last year at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance and already showed considerable capability there.
This supercar features a twin-turbocharged 5.9-liter V8 engine, capable of delivering 1,350 CV of power. But that is not all the SSC Tuatara 2019 can offer: if the tank is filled with E85 fuel, made up of 85% ethanol and 15% gasoline, the output can reach 1,750 CV and a top speed of 483 km/h. This speed and power are achieved not only through the engine, but also through the lightweight construction and the aerodynamics with which this impressive supercar has been designed.

Aside from these figures, the full technical specifications are not known, such as the 0-100 km/h acceleration and confirmation of the top speed boasted by the brand’s engineers. Testing and tuning of the SSC Tuatara will continue until May, so the brand still has time to get the most out of the model. The first SSC Tuatara units are expected to be ready for delivery in August. In a few months we will also know exactly how much this powerful car costs, in case you want to start reserving one.
SSC is not the only brand that wants to break the 300 mph barrier, which equals 483 km/h. Koenigsegg and Hennessey are other brands working to surpass that mark. The record is currently held by the Koenigsegg Agera RS, which managed to reach 457.94 km/h in 2017. To convince prospective buyers that the SSC Tuatara 2019 is the car of their dreams, the company has published a video of the car driving down a road, proudly showing off its bodywork.
