Subaru will unveil the Viziv Performance Concept to the world at the Tokyo Motor Show
One month before its doors open, Subaru announces its Tokyo Motor Show lineup, headlined by the Viziv Performance Concept: a sporty saloon

We are one month away from the 45th edition of the Tokyo Motor Show kicking off, an event that has become unmissable for many manufacturers and especially for local ones, which will showcase many of their new models. An example of this is the return of the Evolution name from Mitsubishi with an interesting electric concept; while Subaru, in addition to other novelties we will tell you about below, is contributing its own piece to the show with an equally interesting sporty concept.
This is the Subaru Viziv Performance Concept, a model the Japanese manufacturer has teased through two teaser images and which promises to attract many eyes at its stand. We cannot reveal many details yet, as the company is saving them for the day of the presentation, except that it takes the form of a saloon with a pronounced sporty character, created under the “DYNAMIC x SOLID” design philosophy, which is also present in other Subaru creations and will be carried over to future production models.

In addition, the Subaru Viziv Performance Concept will also bring the advances that Subaru is making to its EyeSight preventive safety system. This system encompasses several driver assistance safety features, designed for autonomous driving levels 2 and 3, and Subaru has recently presented a new update to make driving even safer.
It will not be the only concept taken to the Tokyo Motor Show, where the Subaru Impreza Future Sport Concept will also be present, a model based on the newly presented Impreza. This is a version that places special emphasis on the Impreza’s sporty characteristics, highlighted by a low centre of gravity, a central sport exhaust and new front and rear bumpers, all finished in a pearl yellow colour. The last concept they will bring is the Subaru XV Fun Adventure Concept, which aims to push the XV’s off-road capabilities to the maximum with a more rugged look.

The Japanese market will also benefit from limited editions presented at the Tokyo Motor Show. On one hand there will be the Subaru WRX STI S208, limited to 450 units, which can be obtained through a lottery, where its characteristics will also be revealed on the day of the draw, although greater power, a carbon roof and exclusive accessories are promised. On the other hand there will also be the Subaru BRZ STI Sport, a limited edition of just 100 units, also to be raffled, which will stand out for its accessories and sporty characteristics.
Finally, Subaru will also bring a special edition of the Outback called the Limited Smart Edition. This edition will differ from the standard model through new details both outside and inside, designed to further enhance its design, as well as the addition of a new grille and wheels exclusive to this model.
