Suzuki Hayabusa: 25th Anniversary Edition
Suzuki has prepared a special edition of the Suzuki Hayabusa model to commemorate the 25th anniversary of this ‘ultra bike’, of which only 300 units will be manufactured

A quarter of a century ago, in 1998, the legendary Suzuki GSX-1300R Hayabusa burst onto the motorcycling scene with its debut at the Intermot International Motorcycle Show in Germany. Its powerful presence, seductive colour design and incredible performance, exceeding 300 km/h, catapulted it to the undisputed leadership of the so-called ‘ultra bikes’.
Today, after 25 years of success and more than 200,000 units produced, Suzuki is celebrating this milestone by presenting a commemorative special edition: the Suzuki Hayabusa 25th Anniversary Edition. This gift for the passionate fans of the brand will be available in numerous international markets, including Japan, the country where it was born.

The Hayabusa has had a major impact on the motorcycle market, securing a strong position among its fans. However, motorcycles such as the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14R, the BMW S 1000 RR or the Ducati Panigale V4 are set to challenge this model for leadership in the segment.
The Hayabusa 25th Anniversary is a masterpiece of design and exclusivity. With a colour base of orange and black, the special edition stands out, and details such as the “25th Anniversary” logo on the fuel tank, accompanied by “Suzuki” lettering in glossy black, give it a distinctive touch. The black trim around the iconic side air vents, the ‘V’-shaped decoration on the fairing and tail section, and the gold finishes on the front brake disc and chain adjuster, featuring Japanese “Kanji” characters, enhance its elegance.

The brand proudly presents the third generation of the Hayabusa as the best to date. The current model features technological advances such as the SIRS electronic control system (Suzuki Intelligent Ride System), traction control and fast, bidirectional gear shifting, which make the riding experience powerful and safe.
The Hayabusa legend began with its launch in 1998, under the “Ultimate Sport” concept, where it earned the title of the iconic motorcycle of Suzuki, capable of reaching impressive speeds. The second generation, launched in 2007 with a displacement of 1,340 cm3, retained the iconic performance of its predecessor and added the Suzuki Drive Mode Selector (SDMS), which allowed riders to customise the engine response to their preferences.

With commercial success around the world since its debut, the model reached countries such as India in 2016, further extending its global influence. Now, in 2023, the Suzuki Hayabusa proudly celebrates its first quarter century, maintaining its place as the undisputed queen of high-speed motorcycles.
The Suzuki Hayabusa has left an indelible mark on the world of motorcycles and will continue to evolve to inspire the passion of new enthusiasts around the world. May it continue to receive the love and support it deserves!
