Teaser video of the BMW Series 5 PAS

BMW has published a teaser of the new Series 5 GT/PAS. But this time, the teaser is not a photo or a design, but a video that explains in an entertaining way the features they worked on to develop the Series 5 PAS. It is expected to be presented at the Geneva Motor Show.

The BMW Series 5 PAS (Progressive Activity Sedan) is a crossover project that the German brand has been working on for some time. The basic idea is to blend a saloon, an SUV and an estate car, and from this the Series 5 PAS would emerge. A concept similar to the Mercedes-Benz R-Class.

In the video they preview that it will feature a panoramic roof, a boot lid that opens in two phases (like the Skoda Superb) and SUV-style wheels with a higher ground clearance than saloons, but without reaching the level of an BMW X6 (which also serves as an inspiration).
