Comfort is one of the most important purchase arguments for a car, and at Peugeot they are very aware of it. The French brand has incorporated the so-called i-Cockpit Amplify system into the Peugeot 5008, its refreshed large SUV. Thanks to this option, the driver can choose between several lighting, fragrance and sound options, but above all will have the possibility of receiving massages.

15 different massage styles: 5 types and three intensities

The i-Cockpit Amplify system in the Peugeot 5008 features five massage types and three intensities – low, medium or high – which adds up to a total of 15 different massage styles.

With the ‘Cat Paw’ massage (cat paws), you will feel the seat press on eight points of your back, as if a cat were really walking across your back. With the ‘Wave’ programme, a rising tide touches eight different positions from the shoulder blades down to the lumbar area. The last massage programme that focuses on up to eight different points is ‘Stretch’, with a high stretch at shoulder height and another low one in the lumbar region. In addition, the Peugeot 5008 also features the ‘Lumbar’ programme, which, as its name suggests, focuses on the lumbar area, and the ‘Shoulders’ programme, which works on the shoulder blade and shoulder area.

Ergonomic seats with the AGR seal

The secret of the new Peugeot 5008 lies in its seats with the AGR seal (Aktion für Gesunder Rücken), elements characterised by their high ergonomics and by adapting to each person through length adjustment (available in both the manual and electric versions), backrest recline (only available in the electric version) and offering four different lumbar support settings (only available in the electric version). In addition, the electric version features eight personalisation programmes and two memory settings.

i-Cockpit Amplify system: available from the Allure trim

These seats are available as an option from the Allure trim of the Peugeot 5008, and form part of the pioneering i-Cockpit Amplify system, with which you can control parameters such as the music ambience, the lighting intensity, the colour options of the various screens, the massages themselves, or the fragrance diffuser.
