Feel at home thanks to the i-Cockpit Amplify of the Peugeot 5008
From the Allure trim level, the Peugeot 5008 can be fitted with AGR-certified seats which, combined with the i-Cockpit Amplify, offer up to 15 different massage modes

The first generation of the Peugeot 5008 was launched in 2009 and reached the markets as an MPV to compete in a segment that was already booming at the time: the SUV. We have now arrived at 2017 and, both SUVs and crossovers remain at the forefront, with more and more brands betting on them at the expense of MPVs. For this reason, Peugeot decided to give the 5008 a radical makeover to turn it into an SUV for the second generation, launched this year.
But to compete in the SUV/crossover segment, it is not enough to simply create any product. A recent example is KIA’s upcoming bet, the Stonic, an SUV whose aim is the difficult challenge of offering a fresh and innovative design, as well as technology. That is why the Peugeot 5008, besides offering a completely renewed and distinctive design, provides a level of equipment on a par with the best SUVs.

One of the elements the new Peugeot 5008 will offer is the i-Cockpit Amplify, a system that covers the various lighting options available for the interior, as well as fragrances and sound to make the atmosphere more pleasant. It also includes another feature that will delight many of its owners: the different massage types and intensities available for its seats.
If you have this feature, or are thinking of fitting it, Peugeot gives you a little nudge to make up your mind by describing it as something like taking your own masseur on board the 5008. Peugeot wants drivers and front passengers to enjoy the most pleasant driving experience possible with the 5 multi-point massage types and the 3 intensity levels available.

The five massage programmes are: Cat Paw, which in Spanish would be “Pata de Gato” (cat’s paw), exactly what you will feel across 8 points on your back, as if a cat were walking over you; Wave, a second programme in which a wave from the shoulder blades down to the lumbar region also touches 8 points on the back; Stretch, another 8 points that provide a high stretch at shoulder height and a low one at the lumbar region; Lumbar, a programme that concentrates on the lumbar region; Shoulders, the last programme, which focuses on the lower part of the shoulder blades and the shoulders. All these programmes come with high, medium and low intensity, which adds up to 15 different massage modes.
This is also achieved, in part, thanks to the use of front seats with AGR certification, in both electric and manual versions, which are available as an option from the Allure trim level of the Peugeot 5008.
