THE 2010: Subaru Impreza Design Concept

With this prototype, Subaru once again leaves us hanging, because when the presence of a prototype at this peculiar event was announced, we all thought of the Toyota FT-86 from Subaru, but it turns out they were cooking up nothing less than a sensational Subaru Impreza Design Concept.

As you can see, what you have before you is nothing less than a good preview of what the brand has in store for the next generation of a vehicle as famous and emblematic for the Japanese brand as the Subaru, which, on the other hand, should be launched at the end of next year.

As for the concept itself, we must say that we are looking at a vehicle 4.5 metres long, 1.8 metres wide and 1.43 metres high, equipped with a 2.0-litre naturally aspirated engine with CVT gearbox. This system, together with monumental wheel arches, is the only thing it shares so far with the Impreza that is still on sale.

On the other hand, we are looking at a style never before seen on the brand’s vehicles, one that expresses sportiness combined with a certain cold, sharp air that you will surely like. As is only logical, many of these lines, though not all, will be present on future models of the brand, and we are not only talking about the future Impreza but also the future “Tobaru“.
