The ABT Urus Scatenato will surprise you with its looks and its power

When Lamborghini dared to launch a high-performance version of the luxury SUV Urus, we believed it could no longer surprise us with a more powerful version. This is partly true, because it is the specialist tuner ABT, working on Volkswagen vehicles, who has worked to create this variant, much more powerful and with a very dynamic and aggressive look.

The body and engine kit has been fitted to an Urus Performante, although it is valid for all the versions available. The name given to this variant, the most powerful of all, is ABT Urus Scatenato. In Italian, this name means “Unleashed“, so we can easily work out what to expect from this version.

Only 99 units will be built of this variant, so anyone who wants to enjoy it will have to hurry to reserve one. What you get is an Urus, with all the characteristics of the model, but reinforced with the tuner’s additions. For example, there are decorative details in glossy carbon fibre, which stand out against the bodywork.

An example of this is the engine compartment release and the engine cover itself. As for aerodynamics, ABT Sportline has fitted a front spoiler, as well as a rear wing with aerodynamic mouldings and a rear skirt, which also features these carbon fibre trims.

There are many elements that raise the image of the model, such as the exterior mirror housings in carbon fibre. The wheels adapted from the brand’s own, forged-iron Lamborghini 23-inch wheels, have been signed by ABT and are named ABT HIGH Performance IRL23, very elegant and offering a more elaborate look.

As for the exhaust, this has been modified and a quad outlet has been fitted, which creates a more powerful and effective sound that unmistakably identifies this SUV as modified by ABT. Inside, in addition to decorative carbon fibre details, the text Scatenato 1 of 99 can be read.

Engine of the ABT Urus Scatenato

The Lamborghini Urus Performante is equipped with a twin-turbo V8 engine that delivers 666 CV. With ABT’s modifications, this unit increases its power to 810 CV, making the experience far more striking. To achieve this, ABT has fitted its ABT Power R technology, which includes its own turbocharger and intercooler. This reduces the power-to-weight ratio from 3.25 kg/CV to less than 3 kg/CV, making it a truly impressive vehicle.
