The Alpine A110 R, with 300 CV, makes its first deliveries in Spain
The French brand Alpine announced a few weeks ago the arrival of its A110 R model, a road-going car built for the track, and now deliveries of this new model are beginning in Spain

The French firm Alpine has announced that it is already delivering in Spanish territory one of the best sports cars ever launched on the market, the Alpine A110 R. This new variant was presented as the most agile and sporty version within the A110 range, and the A110 is a car with an urban design that, given its performance, should not leave the circuit.
The Alpine A110 R has aroused unprecedented enthusiasm among sports car lovers; from the first day Alpine opened orders, a flood of enthusiasts rushed to reserve their car. Among them is Alberto Moreno, the first Spanish customer to receive his unit at the Alpine Centre Madrid, located at Avenida de Burgos 93.

Alberto, co-founder and CEO of Roadstr, stated: “In my opinion, the A110 is a rare gem in the automotive market. Every experience behind the wheel becomes something exceptional. The inclusion of distinctive features, such as the specialised suspension and the very distinctive design, was the icing on the cake for me. I had the chance to witness its debut at the Jarama Circuit while the international press was putting it to the test, and I couldn’t help it; I fell in love at first sight.”
Alberto’s connection with the brand is not limited to its admirable qualities. His brother owns one of the 300 units of the limited edition A110 Légende GT launched in 2021, while his uncle takes pride in an A108 Cabrio inherited from the family. Alberto has decided to continue the legacy of passion for Alpine, taking it to new horizons with the A110 R.

A track-designed toy with 300 CV
The Alpine A110 R stands out for its exceptional character and its focus on lightness and, thanks to its performance and competitive price, it is ready to challenge even the legendary Porsche 718 Cayman. The extensive use of carbon fibre, both inside and out, has allowed a drastic weight reduction compared with its predecessor, the A110 S, with a reduction of 34 kg. Elements such as the bonnet, the wheels, the rear screen and the seats have been meticulously built from this high-tech material.
Combining this lightness with its 300 CV engine, the Alpine A110 R achieves an impressive power-to-weight ratio of 3.6 kg/CV, positioning it as one of the fastest cars in its category. Its 0 to 100 km/h acceleration in just 3.9 seconds bears witness to its fierce performance and passion for speed.

Aerodynamics have also been perfected down to the last detail on the A110 R; Alpine Cars worked closely with the Formula 1 team, Alpine F1 Team, paying attention to the smallest aerodynamic detail thanks to its wind tunnel.
The exclusivity of the A110 R is also evident in its bespoke chassis, where a specific adjustable suspension takes centre stage and allows the driver to adjust the ride height and response in compression and rebound, adapting to different driving conditions. The anti-roll bars have also been significantly strengthened, improving stability in corners, while the cooling of the high-performance Brembo brakes has been optimised by more than 20%.

As for prices, the R version of the beloved Alpine starts at 107,000 euros. Compared with its basic, entry-level version, the A110 S, this represents an increase of 31,000 euros on the final price. For now, the more affordable versions with their 300 CV engines appear to be the most in demand, with the GT version or the basic Alpine version leading the way.
