The Audi Q2 is updated for 2024, more modern, larger and more digital

Audi once again bets on innovation and cutting-edge technology by updating its Q2 model with a more modern design, a larger screen and more intuitive controls

Audi Q2 46

Audi has announced the upcoming update of the Audi Q2, which will reach the market in mid-2024. This update has not only received design changes: driving comfort and all the technology this model already had have been redefined, so that it now ranks among the best in its segment. The Audi Q2 2024 is being prepared for its arrival on the market with a fairly attractive price of €34,000 and is set to compete with models such as the Lexus LBX, the Honda HR-V or even the DS 3.

Audi has paid attention to the feedback of expert motoring professionals, which, as we have already mentioned, has led the brand to offer a more modern design, a larger screen and more intuitive controls.

Audi Virtual Cockpit, now standard

The most outstanding detail among its updates is the Audi Virtual Cockpit, which now comes as standard on all variants of the model. With an impressive 31.2 cm (12.3-inch) screen, this technological addition not only provides essential information about our driving, but also offers the possibility of customising it to our liking.

This screen has been improved in terms of image quality: it now features Full HD quality (1,920 x 720 pixels) and voice control, responding instantly to the driver’s needs. Several designs are available depending on the chosen equipment level, including the Sport mode with red details, or the Dynamic design with the gauge scales reversed.

Drivers have two options to choose from in the Virtual Cockpit display: one with a speedometer and rev counter similar to analogue gauges, showing multimedia or navigation in the centre. The second option reduces the size of the gauges but maintains legibility and includes a large navigation map for easier viewing. In addition, the Audi Virtual Cockpit offers new design styles, allowing us to choose the one that best suits our style, from classic designs to somewhat sportier ones.

New touchscreen and voice control

But innovation does not stop there: the MMI touchscreen has also grown, reaching a generous size of 22.3 cm (8.8 inches), and becomes the epicentre of infotainment control. Furthermore, in this new edition they have dispensed with the old rotary knob of the MMI in favour of a practical storage compartment.

Smart connectivity is the cornerstone of the Audi Q2, which is equipped with the MMI radio, a DAB tuner and two USB-C ports for easy data transfer. What more could you need? In addition, with Audi connect services such as remote control for accessing vital vehicle information, and the MMI Navigation plus package offering high-resolution satellite navigation, the Audi Q2 becomes a technological innovation that has paid attention to even the smallest detail.

Also on high-end models

There is also news for the high-end options, and slightly better than in the entry-level versions, with a premium Sonos sound system with 13 speakers and the Audi phone box, which allows customers to integrate their smartphone and numerous functions into the MMI.

The launch of the Audi Q2 2024 range is scheduled for the first half of 2024, with a starting price of 34,000 euros in the Spanish market, with an update that reflects its commitment to leading the way in the automotive industry.
