The Audi Q3 receives the 2015 model year with slight updates

The youngest member of the Q family from Audi gets numerous updates, both aesthetic and technical.
This is a small restyling for the Audi Q3, which adds appeal to one of the most popular premium SUVs of recent years.
Aesthetically, the 2015 Q3 stands out above all for its new front end, where the central “Single Frame” grille takes on even more prominence, with sharper lines that now extend wider and blend into the new headlights. Speaking of the headlights, the lights now feature a more modern design and, as an option, can be fitted with full LED technology, which adds a touch of quality to the whole.

Both bumpers have been redesigned, as have the rear lights, which now feature a new internal lighting design. Inside, the changes are less obvious, limited to updated controls such as the climate control knob, while new trim and upholstery options are also added.
As for the technical side, the differences compared with the Q3 now being phased out are indeed clear. The engine range (from 120 to 220 CV) is largely updated, with three petrol (TFSI) and three diesel (TDI) engines available. Thanks to a series of adjustments and improvements, consumption and emissions fall by roughly 17% overall.
The most powerful version remains the RSQ3, which keeps the same five-cylinder 2.5 TFSI engine. However, it has gained 30 CV, reaching 340 CV, with a maximum torque of 450 Nm. The transmission remains a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic, while the drivetrain is still permanent all-wheel drive quattro.

The RSQ3’s performance improves substantially, as it can now accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds, a 0.7-second improvement over the previous RSQ3. Top speed remains electronically limited to 250 km/h, while the exhaust system has been revised to deliver a more aggressive, sportier sound. The first units of the updated Q3 will arrive in February 2015.
