The Audi R8 LMS GT4 is now available to competition customers
The new member of the R8 LMS family can now be booked to take part in the new competition category, and will be delivered throughout the month of December

Audi has opened the booking period for the new R8 LMS GT4, a car that is part of the brand’s competition vehicle range and was presented in April at the New York Motor Show. This model enters the category positioned between the GT3 and TCR categories, which has become an international category, with 13 races taking place in America, Europe, Asia and Australia.
The model going on sale these days is based on the R8 Coupé V10, a variant with which it shares 60% of its components. Both models also share the Böllinger Höfe production plant, so the similarities and the treatment of both vehicles are very similar. Moreover, it is a car that is ideal for use by racing drivers amateur who want to make their debut in this category.

The Audi R8 LMS GT4 is powered by a V10 engine that delivers a total output of 495 CV. The price of this sports car is 198,000 euros, and deliveries to the teams that have opted for it will begin in December, through the commercial division of Audi Sport, which is set up to serve GT3 customers, with spare parts service and professional support. Customers outside Europe will be able to obtain their Audi R8 LMS GT4 through the respective departments of Audi Sport North America, Audi Sport Asia, Audi Sport Japan and Audi Sport Australia.
The model debuted at the 24 Hours of Nürburgring, a competition in which two units of the car took part, entered by the Audi Sport Team Phoenix, achieving third and fifth place in the SP-X category of competition vehicles derived from production cars. In the higher GT3 category, the Audi R8 LMS GT3 achieved its fourth victory in the last five years.
