The BMW i3 50 xDrive First Edition is now available in Spain, discover its price

BMW confirmed and presented the new Neue Klasse generation of the i3 just three months ago, a model that the Bavarian brand has rushed to launch on the market, as we confirmed a couple of days ago, but it should be noted that, at least for now, it will only be available in its i3 50 xDrive version and with the First Edition trim, so let’s find out what it offers.

The new BMW i3 50 xDrive First Edition mechanically features an electric motor on the front axle and another on the rear, delivering a combined power of 345 kW (469 CV) as well as a torque of 645 Nm sent to all four wheels, allowing it to go from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.7 seconds. It is equipped with the sixth-generation BMW eDrive technology, the “Heart of Joy” control computer and the BMW Dynamic Performance Control driving system, a combination that, according to the brand, provides precise, smooth and safe driving; and we should not forget the Soft Stop function, which ensures an extremely smooth braking.

Part of this electric system is the high-voltage battery with new cylindrical cells and a capacity of 108.7 kWh, which gives it a combined range according to the WLTP test cycle of up to 906 kilometres. It features 800 V technology and allows DC charging power of up to 400 kW, which means that at a DC fast charging point the i3 50 xDrive can recover enough energy for 423 kilometres in about 10 minutes. In addition, this battery features bidirectional charging V2L technology.
