The BMW M2 with M XDRIVE is already priced in Spain and will take very little time to arrive
The BMW M2 will go on sale with the M XDRIVE intelligent all-wheel-drive system, available from late August and with the same engine as now.

The BMW M models have had the M XDRIVE intelligent all-wheel-drive system for some time now. The BMW M3 and BMW M4 are available with that system, but there was still a model in the range without it that would benefit from this system, which improves handling and the driving experience. The BMW M2 will now be available with M XDRIVE, so the same can be enjoyed from the entry-level range.
The M XDRIVE system consists of a multi-plate clutch with electronic control via the transfer case. This achieves a variable and smooth distribution of power between both axles. It works in coordination with the M active differential, the traction control designed for M models, and DSC. It adapts the car’s real-time response and delivers a dynamic driving experience with greater safety.

Although it is all-wheel drive, the BMW M2 will remain a rear-wheel-drive-oriented model, like the rest of the range. Under normal conditions, power is sent to the rear axle, and only when more thrust is needed or the situation requires it is power sent to the front axle.

BMW M2 WITH M XDRIVE
As for the engine, this BMW M2 with M XDRIVE will feature the same 3.0-litre inline six-cylinder engine producing 480 CV. Along with the M XDRIVE all-wheel-drive system comes the new BMW Individual Borusan Turkish Blue colour, debuting on an BMW M, as well as the BMW M Ignite technology.
This is used in competition and significantly reduces consumption under high-load conditions, which will be noticeable especially on the track, and in addition, it complies with the EU7 regulation.
The price of the BMW M2 M XDRIVE starts at 101,500 euros, about 3,000 euros above the base model. It will be available from late August worldwide and can be booked soon.
