The BMW M4 CS Edition VR46 begins rolling off the assembly line at Dingolfing
The BMW M4 CS Edition VR46 features rider Valentino Rossi as its protagonist and offers 46 units in each trim level, with designs by the rider himself.

One of the great names in motorcycle racing is, without doubt, Valentino Rossi. And although he is no longer the young prospect he once was, his name has been engraved in gold letters in two-wheel competition. And not only his name, but also the number that identifies him: number 46. A number with a special meaning, which is now also the age of the rider, and which belongs to the team BMW M GmbH.
This number has been chosen to pay tribute to him in the form of a special edition of the BMW M4 CS, which receives the special name Edition VR46. A car that combines, in the words of those responsible for its design and manufacture, the spirit of perseverance and triumph that the Italian rider embodies.

The number 46, a matter of inheritance
The number 46 is not there by chance. The rider chose it because his father wore that number throughout his professional career. Valentino Rossi used it as a tribute to his father, and it has remained an inseparable identifier of his image and career. That is why this special edition of the BMW M4 CS has received this name.
Only 46 units will be built in each of the two trim levels, the Sport and the Style. It is important to note that both versions have been designed with the rider himself involved, so his signature is present in every element of the special edition’s design.

A car to Valentino Rossi’s taste
The model’s features include the number 46 added at several points on the bodywork, most notably on the carbon-fibre roof and on the sides. The colours have also been chosen according to Valentino Rossi’s criteria: Bay Marine Blue and matte Tanzanite Blue with metallic finish are available.
Inside, the cabin comes in Night Blue with decorative details in Sao Paulo Yellow. The steering wheel also features stitching, and the headrest bears the VR46 logo. A numbered plate will certify each unit’s membership in this special edition.
A powerful and efficient engine
The special model is equipped with a 3.0-litre straight-six engine and M TwinPower Turbo technology. It delivers 550 CV and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds. Top speed is limited to 302 km/h, so driving it is quite an experience. It is paired with an eight-speed gearbox and features an M Active differential, making it fully suitable for both road and track driving.
A meeting with Valentino Rossi
Buyers will be able to enjoy a day with the rider himself at the VR46 Motor Ranch in Tavullia. There will also be a day at the Misano circuit, where the BMW M Driving Experience can be tried out.
