BMW Serie 4 Convertibles Range / versions
The BMW Serie 4 Cabrio is now priced in Spain
BMW has announced the new official Spanish prices for the second generation of its Serie 4 Cabrio, now with a fabric roof

Eight years after the first generation of the BMW Serie 4 was presented, the Bavarian brand has brought us the official prices for our country for the new Serie 4 Cabrio. Its main novelty? The fabric roof that will be fitted to all versions of the German coupé.
A fabric roof on a car in this segment has become something of a “rara avis”, which is why the new BMW Serie 4 Cabrio has been so applauded. The new fabric structure reduces weight by 40% compared with the previous generation, bringing not only better dynamics but also a much more attractive line, without sacrificing good sound insulation.

Fitting a roof that weighs 40% less than the previous generation also allows the car’s centre of gravity to be kept lower. A key factor in improving the car’s dynamic behaviour and making it much more stable through corners.
The advantage of fabric over a hard top
Retractable hard tops have the drawback of adding more weight to the car than a fabric roof would. In addition, they reduce boot capacity, which is why special attention has been paid in this new Serie 4 Cabrio to going from 385 litres of volume with the roof closed to 300 litres with the roof open.

The new system folds and unfolds in just 18 seconds, and it can be operated at speeds of up to 50 km/h. Finally, BMW offers the option of choosing the roof in two colours: black and anthracite silver effect.

Generous standard equipment
The new BMW Serie 4 comes with generous standard equipment, one of the most advanced and complete in its segment. It is headlined by an 8-speed Steptronic automatic gearbox, which accompanies any of the versions that BMW offers in its Serie 4 Cabrio range.
The standard wheels are 17-inch and inside there are sports seats with electric adjustment and memory, a multifunction leather sports steering wheel and tri-zone climate control.

In terms of safety, the Serie 4 Cabrio comes as standard with rain sensor and LED automatic lights, a 40/20/40 variable load system, Active Guard Plus from BMW (lane departure warning, cruise control with braking function, or active protection against side collisions) and Parking Assistant.
For connectivity, the Serie 4 Cabrio features the Live Cockpit Professional system, the Connected Package Professional and DAB+ tuner.
Lastly, to complete the standard equipment, BMW provides a warranty extended to three years or up to 200,000 km, whichever is reached first.

Range and prices
The prices and engines of the new BMW Serie 4 Cabrio are as follows: for the 420i variant, petrol with 184 CV, the price starts from 57,300 euros. For the 430i, petrol with 258 CV, the price starts from 61,400 euros, and for the most powerful version in the range, the M440i xDrive, petrol, ECO label and 374 CV, the price starts from 83,400 euros.
BMW also offers a diesel variant with the same mild-hybrid system as the M440i xDrive, which allows it to carry the DGT ECO label. The diesel version is headed by the 420d with 190 CV, starting from 58,250 euros.
