The BMW Z4 Concept arrives in 23 images to shine at Pebble Beach
Ahead of its imminent presentation at the Pebble Beach event, BMW unveils the Z4 Concept, which will reveal what the new version of this sports car looks like

These coming days the Concours d’Elegance at Pebble Beach will take place, and we will see many impressive cars that want to make us dream of driving them. And among all those marvellous vehicles we are going to get a preview of the successor to the BMW Z4. Yes, because although we were waiting to learn about a new model with a different name, the Z4 keeps its name and shows us that it is the only thing that is going to continue, because the BMW Z4 Concept we see in these first images is truly spectacular.
This concept model will give us an idea of what the definitive model will be like, whose market launch is planned for mid-2018. Obviously, the design we see on this model is going to undergo some modification before moving on to definitive production, since it is the model they will follow to establish the car’s final appearance.

Details such as the slim headlights and the roll bars probably will not be on the definitive model, but broadly speaking we can be more or less looking at a reflection of what we will find at the dealership in a few months. The ever-present double kidney grille is somewhat larger in this version and offers a bolder, more dynamic image, something also perceived thanks to the large air intakes next to the front bumper.
The side emphasises that dynamism, with open vents behind the front wheel arches and an angular sill. All of this is highlighted by the body paint, a metallic orange colour that helps create an elegant as well as sporty look. The mirrors have a very attractive design, chrome-finished and elongated, but they are not very practical for everyday use, so we assume they will change before the definitive model.

At the rear we find a continuation of the overall design, with light clusters, above which sits a small spoiler. In addition, there are two air outlets and a twin exhaust that offer an image as sporty and appealing as the front. Inside, brown Alcántara has been chosen for the passenger side, while black leather can be seen in the driver’s area.
This one will have a cabin designed to make driving as efficient, practical and comfortable as possible. The steering wheel is flattened at the bottom and in front of the driver is a 100% digital instrument cluster, using a Head-Up Display system so the driver does not have to take their eyes off the road. As for the mechanics, we only know from these images that it will have an automatic gearbox, but we know nothing more. Let’s enjoy the photos and hope they give us more information soon.
