BMW M4 Convertibles Range / versions
The Bonvensiepen Zagato is the evolution of the BMW M4 you wanted to see, and it's already here
The Bovensiepen Zagato combines German engineering with Italian style, creating a car with an impressive look and impressive technical characteristics.

Bonvensiepen has become a name with weight in the automotive industry, thanks to Burkard Bovensiepen, the creator of the Alpina brand. He passed away in 2023, but his children, Andreas and Florian Bovensiepen, remain in the industry. Both have created a car brand that bears that same name. Their first project is called Bonvensiepen Zagato and is as spectacular as its name suggests.
The model combines German engineering with the Italian design of Zagato in a combination that is truly spectacular. The car is based on the BMW M4 Convertible. Of course, the fabric roof has been replaced with a fixed roof. It is evident that it is a convertible underneath because it lacks B-pillars, so the convertible spirit is present even though it has a fixed roof.

Not only does the roof carry the Zagato signature, but it also features new 20-inch wheels with a fresh design. This enhances the difference in image from the car it is based on. Of course, the rear lights retain the original design and reveal the origin of the renewed model.

New design, same spirit
The body panels are made of carbon fiber, and a new, longer bonnet has been created. It features a U-shaped air outlet. The rear diffuser has also been redesigned and is now more aggressive, flanked by two titanium exhausts signed by Akrapovič, which offer a 40% weight reduction compared to those used on the M4.
Inside, the color blue predominates, present in the leather upholstery but also in Alcantara.
Engine
As for the powertrain, it features the S58 six-cylinder 3.0-litre twin-turbo engine. It produces 602 CV with a torque of 700 Nm. This engine is paired with an automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. With these figures, Bovensiepen claims an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.3 seconds.
Availability of the Bovensiepen Zagato
Developing this model required 250 hours of work, so it is safe to assume it will not be inexpensive. However, we do not yet know details of its production, so until it is officially presented, we will not know more about the car, the number of units to be produced, its price, or the start date of production. What has been announced is that l the first deliveries will take place in summer 2026.
