The Bugatti Chiron adds a double panoramic roof to its list of options to enhance comfort

The Bugatti Chiron offers a very interesting option, a double glass roof. It comes with numerous features that will enhance the comfort of its occupants.

Exclusivity in the automotive world knows no bounds, since it is a segment that constantly competes with the most luxurious vehicles in the world. The Bugatti Chiron sits within this sector, where it stands as one of the most exclusive cars on the face of the earth. The French firm offers its fortunate clients numerous options with prices in keeping with the whole, but on this occasion they have wanted to raise the level of exclusivity with a very attractive extra, a double panoramic roof. This option will fill the gap left by the convertible variant, which will be unveiled very soon.

The Bugatti Chiron was born as the successor to the Veyron, a position that had to be filled by a vehicle meeting a series of demanding requirements, but the engineers succeeded. Now, the French hypercar firmly enters the list of the most expensive and fastest vehicles in the world, with the first of these characteristics being emphasised by this new option for the Bugatti Chiron.

It is true that the panoramic roof is a very common option found on any type of vehicle, regardless of the segment it belongs to. However, the designers of Bugatti have wanted to go further by creating a double glass roof that differs from a conventional one. To this end, this new option on the French hypercar includes numerous features that turn the panoramic roof into a highly exclusive addition.

The double glass roof of the Bugatti Chiron measures 65 cm in length and 44 cm in width, and both panels have been created using a laminated glass structure. At the same time, it has been designed to reduce aerodynamic noise and to reflect the sunlight falling directly onto the glass surface, thus preventing the temperature inside the cabin from rising too much.

To complement this feature, the double roof has been tinted not only to prevent ultraviolet rays from reaching the occupants, but also to protect their privacy and prevent the interior from being seen. At the same time, this option will be very appealing to owners who are particularly tall, since the presence of the panoramic roof gives occupants 2.7 centimetres more space compared with a conventional Chiron.

For now we do not know the price of this option, but given that a Bugatti Chiron comfortably exceeds one million euros, the presence of this double glass roof will not be cheap. In this way, the French firm has not only set out to give its creation a distinctive touch, but also an increase in comfort and exclusivity.
