The Chevrolet Corvette becomes a 1,000 hp beast with the Yenko badge
Yenko and Chevrolet have always had a close relationship, and now Specialty Vehicle Engineering arrives to offer the Yenko Corvette with up to 1,000 hp.

The history of the automobile has counted on the involvement of many outside people who have managed to bring to life authentic legends. In this context we find Yenko, which is characterised by modifying Chevrolet’s most sporting vehicles. One of the most emblematic models of the American brand, the Corvette, has allowed itself to be modified by Yenko, who have managed to squeeze out every last drop of sportiness from this iconic vehicle. In this way, the Chevrolet Corvette climbs once again in the ranking of supercars.
Specialty Vehicle Engineering has been the company in charge of bringing this automotive beast to life, which aims to take on the greatest supercars of all time. With a series of cosmetic modifications and a considerable increase in power, the Yenko Corvette arrives as a sure bet if we long to have the immensity of 1,000 hp under our right foot.
However, the American brand has also considered those customers who are a little less radical, and therefore offers a Stage I that raises the power of the Chevrolet Corvette to a more “reasonable” 835 hp. At the same time, this impressive herd of horses is accompanied by the vinyl graphics characteristic of Yenko-badged models and different colour options to create a truly striking contrast.

To bring the 2019 Yenko Corvette to life, Specialty Vehicle Engineering has taken the already impressive Grand Sport as its base, a variant that hides beneath its skin a 6.2-litre V8 engine. After passing through the hands of the American tuner, Chevrolet’s supercar has been given forged aluminium pistons, a new exhaust system, an increase in displacement to 6.8 litres, the corresponding ECU modifications and an upgrade to the gearbox and fuel tank.
In this way, the Yenko Corvette is ideally placed to offer its drivers the brutality of 1,000 hp and more than 1,000 Nm of torque, making it one of the wildest Corvettes ever built. However, Specialty Vehicle Engineering has not only ensured a high level of sportiness, but also of exclusivity, since only 25 units of this variant of the Chevrolet Corvette will be manufactured.

At the same time, the official factory warranty will remain intact, thus allowing Specialty Vehicle Engineering customers to modify their Corvette with complete peace of mind. This Yenko variant will have a starting price of $68,995 if the manual version is chosen, a figure that rises to $77,995 with the automatic transmission.
