The CUPRA León introduces new engines and equipment

CUPRA has updated its offer on this model and now offers more engines and several equipment items that enhance the car’s efficiency and performance.

Cupra Leon Nuevo Motor Equipamiento (3)

Within CUPRA, the León is one of the most sought-after models among buyers. So the brand has wanted to offer those who choose this model a new trim level, with new engines and more equipment. All of this so that the experience of driving this car is much more enjoyable and striking.

The first engine to arrive in the range will be the new Mild-Hybrid 1.5 eTSI with 150 CV (110 kW) DSG. This unit, which features mild hybridisation, will allow those who prefer this engine to also access the range of this model. The presence of the mild-hybrid system means it can display the ECO DGT label.

But this will not be the last engine added to the CUPRA León line-up. In autumn, the 2.0 TSI engine with 190 CV (140 kW) will also arrive, with a DSG automatic gearbox, which will complement the offer. Another novelty is the arrival of the Sportourer estate body. This version will be available with both the 190 CV engine and the 150 CV unit.

More equipment

But the engines and the new bodywork are not the only novelties in the CUPRA León range. The version equipped with the new engine will feature Full LED headlights, infinity lights at the rear and an exhaust with trim finishers in Dark Aluminium colour. 18-inch silver alloy wheels are also included as standard. As an option, the Matrix LED headlights, found on the CUPRA Formentor, can be fitted.

The rear diffuser can be painted in the body colour, which can also come in the colours Magnetic Grey or Petrol Blue, both matt. As for the interior, you can choose the standard Sport upholstery or the option with Bucket seats, upholstered in leather. In this case they can be Petrol Blue or Black.

The standard screen is 10 inches, but the 12-inch screen can be fitted optionally. As for driver assistance systems, the standard equipment also includes automatic emergency braking in the city, lane change assist and automatic light assist (dipped/main beam), among others. As options, notable additions include the new Travel Assist 2.5, which also works in the city, and Pre Crash Assist, which prepares the vehicle for an imminent accident to help prevent serious injury to occupants.

The Adaptive Chassis Control (DCC) offered as an option can adjust the suspension across up to 15 different settings. Up to ten airbags are also included in the cabin, whereas the standard version has only seven. There are further novelties included in optional packs, which complement the equipment of this updated model.
