Cybertruck Tesla Electric Cars Pick-up
The Cybertruck arrives at the Tesla "Stores" ahead of its official unveiling
Some of the features coming to light ahead of its unveiling suggest that the Cybertruck is going to be an unusual electric pickup
With just over a week to go before the American manufacturer officially unveils its highly anticipated new electric pickup, some US users are reporting on social media that at least a couple of Tesla Stores in California already have a Cybertruck unit on display. One of these Stores is located at the UTC Shopping Center in San Diego, and the other is in San Jose.
Although it has not been confirmed yet, everything points to these two Cybertruck units on display not being prototypes, but production versions or at least very close to production. Those who have been able to see them up close also point out that they show no visible gaps between panels and that the quality of their assembly appears very high.

Another point worth highlighting is that Tesla accompanies these Cybertruck units with information signs that reveal some details of their technical specifications that we did not know until now. Thus, the American manufacturer states on these signs that its electric pickup is capable of carrying a little over 1,100 kg in its cargo bed. It is also possible to tow a trailer of up to 5,000 kg.
Who dares to challenge the Cybertruck?
Pending official confirmation, these figures would place the Cybertruck ahead of the competition. For example, the Ford F-150 Lightning can tow up to 4,535 kg, almost 500 kg less. Meanwhile, the Rivian R1T matches the Tesla electric pickup in this area, and the Hummer EV Pickup falls well behind with 3,850 kg. When it comes to payload capacity, however, the Cybertruck clearly outperforms all three rivals.
The information signs found at these two Tesla Stores also highlight the ultra-resistant composition of the material covering the cargo bed, which would also allow the manufacturer to reduce the weight of the overall vehicle. A feature that all those planning to use the Cybertruck for demanding tasks and hard work will surely appreciate.

For now, these are the only details that have come to light, but we have no doubt that the American manufacturer is holding back some other points of considerable interest for the day of its unveiling, which, as you will surely already know, will take place on November 30.
