Las Vegas is hosting the CES 2022, which offers visitors the latest innovations in electric mobility, along with other interesting novelties in consumer electronics. And in the electric mobility area, which is gaining increasing presence at the event, the new FIAT 500 could be seen.

The Italian icon is represented by the FIAT Nuevo 500 3+1 and the Nuevo (500)RED. The brand’s most popular car has become an electric vehicle, designed to appeal to the new consumer, the one looking for an interesting and affordable electric vehicle that doesn’t give up comfort and, of course, the traditional image of this legendary vehicle.

Available in the main markets

At present the FIAT Nuevo 500 is available in Europe, Israel and Brazil, and throughout 2022 it will reach others, such as Japan, where it will arrive shortly. It is the best-selling battery vehicle in the brand’s range and has been renewed to become the iconic vehicle it was from the beginning. It has been designed in Turin, in the same place where the original FIAT 500 was designed, and it aims to follow in its footsteps.

The FIAT Nuevo 500 3+1 takes its name from including a magic door. This is designed to ease access to the rear and integrates seamlessly into the bodywork. This addition includes the part that locks the front door, so a great deal of space is saved, and when the third door is opened there is a large space to make it easier for passengers to get in and even to load large packages.

For its part, the Nuevo (500)RED is a special edition that retains all the features of the FIAT 500, but with a commitment to the (RED) Foundation, promoted by Bono and Bobby Shriver. This foundation fights pandemics, and Stellantis has committed to donating 4 million dollars over the coming years to help with its work.

The technology included in the FIAT 500 allows level 2 autonomous driving, in addition to a range of 320 kilometres on the WLTP cycle, although this can increase to 420 kilometres if used only on urban cycles. It can be bought in three body styles: saloon, convertible and the 3+1 solution. So the flagship of the Italian brand is available in the version the buyer prefers.
