The first images of the Toyota bZ3 have leaked
It is unknown in which markets it will be available, but we hope to learn a bit more during the Guangzhou Auto Show.

The first images of the Toyota bZ3 with production specifications have leaked. This new fully electric saloon will join the Toyota bZ4 to further complete the electric range of the Japanese brand. The bZ3 was presented last year under the Toyota bZ SDN concept, and the images reveal that the production model is almost identical to the concept.
There are obvious design similarities with the Toyota bZ4X at the front, thanks to the headlights and the LED light bar. These images show that the bZ3 also has fairly large side windows, which undoubtedly adds plenty of light to the cabin and makes it feel more spacious and airy.

The side profile of the new saloon is quite unique compared with other Toyota models, thanks to the sloping windscreen and the short, fastback-style boot lid. The selected images show the bZ3 in a two-tone paint scheme, white and black, with black pillars and window surrounds. Like the front, the rear of the electric saloon resembles the bZ4X and also has some echoes of the hydrogen-powered Mirai, particularly in the shape of the rear lights.

Official images of the car’s interior have not appeared online, but a specialist source indicates that it will feature an information and entertainment screen oriented towards the passengers, and a steering wheel similar to the one found in the bZ4X. It will also come with a digital instrument cluster. It is not clear whether the optional yoke-style steering wheel of the bZ4X will also be offered for the bZ3.
The Toyota bZ3 is based on the Toyota e-TNGA architecture, and it is understood that the bZ3 will be offered exclusively in rear-wheel-drive configuration, available with an electric motor of 135 kW or 179 kW. The saloon’s lithium iron phosphate batteries will be the leaf-style cells developed and supplied by BYD. While it is not yet known in which markets the bZ3 will be available, it is expected to make its public debut at the Guangzhou Auto Show in November.
