The Ford Active brings the SUVs closer to the Focus, Fiesta and KA+
The Ford Active version is the new badge for some of the models that Ford has chosen to dress up as crossovers, offering an option closer to its SUV range.
The success of SUVs on the market has had unexpected consequences a few years ago. Nobody expected to see a crossover version of the world’s best-selling city cars and compacts. And that is exactly what the Ford Active offers: crossover versions currently found in the KA+, Fiesta and Focus range, some of Ford’s best sellers.

A rugged styling and specific modifications make them easier to drive off the tarmac. They do not become SUVs or off-roaders by any means, but they handle gravel or simple tracks much better than the rest of the range.
Ford Fiesta Active
The Ford Fiesta range includes, among its many options, the Active version. This crossover version is 18 millimetres taller than the original and not only avoids scraping the underbody when leaving the tarmac, it also offers one of the qualities many drivers look for today: a higher driving position.
In addition, the rugged styling is evident in the chrome roof rails and the underbody, wheel arch and bumper protection that safeguard the bodywork. The Ford Active also features the “Slippery Terrain” driving mode, optimised for driving on low-grip surfaces.

The Ford Fiesta Active is available with the renowned 1.0-litre EcoBoost petrol engines in 85 CV, 100 CV, 125 CV and 140 CV versions. The 1.5-litre TDCi engine is available in 85 CV and 120 CV. Its starting price is 17,895 EUR, excluding brand discounts or special promotions.
New Ford Focus Active
The refreshed range of the new Ford Focus also includes its corresponding Active version. Like its smaller siblings, the new generation Focus includes the first crossover version of the compact
.
The Focus Active offers a chassis 30 millimetres higher, black protective cladding for the wheel arches and underbody, front and rear skid plates and silver inserts. It also features a bespoke front design and more durable, textured materials and surfaces.
Ford KA+ Active
Refreshed in early 2018, the new Ford KA+ introduced the crossover version for the first time. The KA+ Active follows the line of the other Ford Active models, and its chassis is 23 millimetres taller than the original version.
In addition to the matching body protection, it has an exclusive black finish on the front grille and roof bars. The Active version also comes exclusively in the Canyon Ridge colour, a metallic bronze tone, and 15-inch alloy wheels, as well as interior details on the steering wheel, floor mats and special brown stitching. It is available from 12,400 EUR starting price before discounts.
