The Ford plant in Almussafes has celebrated the rollout of the 300,000th Ford C-Max, a milestone reached nearly three years after the American brand’s estate model was launched in our country.

The figures recorded so far at Almussafes break down into the production of 219,514 C-Max and 80,486 Grand C-Max. Since production of the C-Max began until today, Ford has invested 1,112 million euros in its Valencian plant, an amount earmarked for adapting the facility to produce the new Ford Kuga and, in the near future, the new Connect.

Thanks to the C-Max, Almussafes has placed itself among the leaders in terms of the technological level of manufacturing required in the industry. Producing the C-Max has been a real revolution for the Ford plant in Valencia, as the complexity of manufacturing far exceeded that of the products previously built there.

C-Max production will continue with thirteen different versions, ranging from the compact EcoBoost 1.0 petrol to the 2.0 TDCi diesel versions.
