Focus Ford Curiosities Sports Cars Video games
The Ford Focus RS designed by gamers

The union between Ford and driving video games, whether simulators or not, has a long history already. A classic among car manufacturers who want to see their creations in the digital world and win over millions of players around the world. One of the video games that attracts the most followers is the Forza Motorsport series, which will release its sixth installment during Gamescom. For this reason, the company of the blue oval prepared a design contest for gamers of Forza Horizon 2, using the Ford Focus RS as the base.
The Ford Focus RS designed by gamers features an image of the video game’s cover, starring another model from the American brand, the Ford GT, on the sides, as well as a combination of blue, red and black tones. Accompanying the compact sports car of the C segment will be the famous Top Gear test driver of unknown identity, The Stig, who will be present during the launch of the video game escorting this Focus RS and a copy of the Ford GT.

The Ford Focus RS ‘Special Forza’ is already a reality, although it is unknown whether it will be present in the digital world of Forza Motorsport 6, at least the design, since the base model will be. The winning design was obtained through a contest, organized by IGN, among the players of Forza Horizon 2.
As a reminder, the new Ford Focus RS features an EcoBoost five-cylinder engine inherited from the European Ford Mustang, which, with a displacement of 2.3 litres and forced induction, delivers 350 CV directly to all four driven wheels. Among the curiosities of this powerful hatchback is the ‘Drift mode’ system, which configures the vehicle’s settings to allow comfortable drifting with the Focus RS. Don’t miss the video below.
