The Ford Kuga PHEV in ST-Line X trim is now available with the Black Pack and comfort seats
The Ford Kuga can now emphasise its sporty character with the Black Pack depending on the chosen trim, as well as being more comfortable thanks to the comfort seats

The truth is that the Ford Kuga plug-in hybrid did not get off to a good start due to manufacturing problems that could lead to a fire when recharging its battery, but once those problems were resolved, the Kuga managed to climb to the top of the sales charts, even becoming the best-selling plug-in hybrid in Europe during the first half of 2022, after having been the best-seller in Europe in 2021.
It is clear that the formula Ford has developed for the Kuga PHEV is the right one and is attracting many drivers who are opting for this new form of mobility, but Ford wants more and will make it even more attractive to its potential customers. The Ford Kuga PHEV range focuses on three trims called ST-Line, ST-Line X and Vignale, with the ST-Line X being our protagonist today as it receives the Black Pack and comfort seats.

The Ford Kuga PHEV in its ST-Line X trim already comes quite well equipped as standard. Let us recall some of the features you will find:
- Red brake calipers
- Pedals with aluminium covers
- Sill protectors
- Tinted glass
- Automatic tailgate
- LED front headlights and daytime running lights
- LED rear lights
- Electric, heated, folding door mirrors with welcome lights
- Rear diffuser painted in body colour
- Light and rain sensor
- Rear-view camera
- Sport steering wheel with paddle shifters
- Front and rear parking sensors

Well, the Kuga in ST-Line X specification can now be ordered with the Black Pack, which reinforces its sporty image with black-painted elements such as the roof, the mirror housings, the dashboard air vents, the rear spoiler, the ST-Line badges and the 20-inch alloy wheels that are fitted as standard.

In addition, for the entire Kuga range, the comfort seats with AGR certification can now be optionally fitted. These seats feature 18-way adjustment, allowing them to adapt to the body of the occupant through adjustments to the seat height, length and recline, together with the lumbar support and the four-way adjustable headrest.
Mechanically, the Ford Kuga PHEV continues to be powered by its 2.5 Duratec plug-in hybrid engine, which delivers a power output of 225 CV, also offering a combined all-electric range of between 57 and 67 kilometres.
