The future Audi A3 Sedan is rendered showing a very faithful look

Audi has just presented the new A3, a model that has already prompted several designers to create renders of the future A3 Sedan.

The Group Volkswagen’s holy trinity is reunited once again, with the newly presented Audi A3 tasked with completing it. However, although the renewal of a model always brings important novelties, the previous generation of the German compact left certain traces that allow us to anticipate part of the future of this latest iteration. One of them is the saloon body style that caused such a stir and furor in the market, and which has led rival brands such as BMW or Mercedes-Benz to make a similar move with their respective compacts.

Nevertheless, these last two firms have the lead over the house of the four rings, which has decided to delay the launch of the new A3 for too long. Yet knowing all its details has been more than enough for designers such as Kleber Silva to get to work creating a faithful render of the future A3 Sedan, a variant of the German compact that will arrive sooner or later, just as the previous generation foreshadowed.

Considering that the last -and first- A3 Sedan followed design patterns very close to those of its compact sibling, we can infer that the same will happen with the current generation. Silva also sees it this way, and has taken advantage of the new design canons applied to the four-ring compact to shape his faithful render.

The front shows no difference whatsoever from that of the new Audi A3, where a more muscular singleframe grille dominates the front area alongside a sharper and more imposing bumper. The side, on the other hand, is stretched to achieve that saloon configuration with the help of the C-pillar, which is also lengthened to create a conventional boot rather than a fifth door.

And it is at the rear where we see the perfect integration of the new taillights and bumper, elements that conform to the latest design language of Audi. As for the cabin, we expect no difference from the compact variant, which has introduced important technological innovations along with a new screen and the already familiar Virtual Cockpit.

For now it is premature to determine a launch date, but it could be at the 2020 Paris Motor Show where the four-ring firm takes the opportunity to present the new A3 Sedan. Either way, we are confident that Audi will continue with this body style, which acts not only as an alternative to more voluminous models such as the A4, but also to its most direct rivals.
