The futuristic sibling of the Focus and the Fusion: Ford Evos Concept

At Frankfurt, Ford will present a concept that, according to people at Ford, will sit halfway between a Ford Fusion and a Ford Focus. And the truth is it is a very welcome surprise, given that for quite some time Ford has not shown us a concept as interesting as the Evos, which we wish were the Capri…

In short, the Ford Evos Concept offers room for four adults. The comfort of a saloon, within the lines of a coupé. But don’t get your hopes up too much, because the Evos will not see the light of day; instead, the ideas applied here will be carried over into future models from Ford.

The most striking feature is the grille, of quite generous size, a design trend already seen on models from pricier brands and large saloons. It looks like the front of a Aston Martin, from a Ford.

Inside, Ford promises very ergonomic controls, all within easy reach, combined with the latest technology in electronic controls for each of the car’s systems, along with multimedia capabilities.

The powertrain has not been revealed, but it is to be expected that it will lean towards hybrids or electric vehicles. It is speculated that it will feature the same hybrid system as the Ford C-Max Energi, the heavyweight Ford has to take on the phenomenon of the Chevy Volt.

In short, there is still not much clarity about the Evos, but all doubt will be resolved once it is unveiled on 13 September in Frankfurt. In the meantime, here is a video you can enjoy below.
