The Geely E2 reaches one million units sold in just two years

After two years on the market, the Geely E2 has just reached the milestone of one million units sold worldwide. With this figure of registered vehicles, the Chinese company confirms that the brand’s expansion is proving effective and successful. This amounts to an average of one Geely E2 sold every minute over these last two years.

The model was launched on 9 October 2024 and, in those first months alone, it already achieved some important sales milestones. In just 16 days on the market it sold 100,000 units, while it reached 200,000 units sold after 200 days on sale.

When 536 days on the market had passed, in July of this year 2026, the number of units sold had already reached 800,000. When 9 October 2026 arrived, one million units were reached, a milestone being celebrated throughout this month.

Throughout 2025, this model managed to sell 465,775 units. It became the best-selling model in segments A and B. In China it was the best-selling car in all segments, so it is a model to keep an eye on worldwide.

The Geely E2 is present in 30 countries across Europe, Latin America, Asia-Pacific, Africa and the Middle East. In Australia it was the best-selling passenger car during the first month of its sale, and in Jordan it led electric vehicle sales for three consecutive months. Mexico ranked it as one of the two best-selling electric vehicles in August and September 2026, according to data provided by the brand. In October, 71,337 units were sold worldwide.

In the Spanish market, the Geely E2 has become the third best-selling 100% electric passenger car and became the sales leader two months after reaching the global market. In other markets it goes by the name Geely EX2, but it is the same model under a different name.
