The highly anticipated Kawasaki Z900 is now priced and available at Spanish dealerships
Kawasaki recently announced the update of its Z900, an entry-level motorcycle in its supernaked range that is now on sale in Spain

If there is a naked bike par excellence, it is the Kawasaki Z series, a motorcycle whose various engine sizes are abundant on the roads, and in particular the one formerly known as the Z700, which was replaced by the Z650. But the top of the range sits higher, because since 2017 the Japanese brand has invited you into the world of supernaked bikes with the Z900, a model that has been recently updated and is now available in Spain.
We recall that the new Kawasaki Z900 has been updated aesthetically with the arrival of a new front end with a sharper design, which gives it a more aggressive “streetfighter” look and has also led to a revised front lighting unit. Behind this front end sits a 5-inch full-colour TFT display, which the rider can read while riding in a more comfortable position thanks to the new Ergo-Fit seat, with a flatter design, available in two heights, and which also allows easy movement along the saddle.
Continuing with the front area, but on the sides, the new Z900 now features brushed aluminium side covers
that undoubtedly give it a more refined design and, a little higher up, the rider can also use a USB Type-C socket to charge devices. At the rear, the Kawasaki Z900 also receives updates with the arrival of a new LED tail light with a light-guide design that gives it a cutting-edge 3D appearance.
The chassis of the Kawasaki Z900 is still powered by the 948 cc inline four-cylinder engine
, which delivers 125 CV and a maximum torque of 98.6 Nm. It is characterised by a rapid rise in revs and torque available from mid-range, while throttle control becomes more precise thanks to the new electronic throttle valves. Engine control unit adjustments also contribute to a 16% fuel saving and reduced CO2 emissions. The rider will also have KRTC traction control, together with power modes and riding modes selectable from the handlebar, not to mention the IMU electronic management system.

Braking on the Kawasaki Z900 is handled by new 4-piston radial calipers and Dunlop Sportmax Q5A tyres fitted as standard. Cruise control and the “turn-by-turn” navigation system, which shows simplified navigation prompts on the TFT display, are also standard. Finally, those wanting better equipment can opt for the Z900 SE, with an Öhlins rear shock absorber and a Brembo front brake system. The Z900 will also be available in 70 kW and 35 kW versions for riders who need power restriction according to their licence.
The Kawasaki Z900 is now available in Spain at a price starting from 10,935 euros, while the restricted version starts at 9,999 euros and, finally, the Z900 SE is priced at 12,475 euros. All of them include free insurance for the first year in their price.
