McLaren has confirmed the international presentation of the P1 production model at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. With a month to go before that event begins, they in Woking are gradually building our anticipation to see the final version of the supercar. Today, from England, a key part of the cabin has been unveiled in a video.

We know that the McLaren P1 will retain 97% of the bodywork of the prototype shown in Paris, but until now that was all we knew. For many, the interior matters more than the exterior, even more so in a supercar of this calibre. That is why we have been able to see the instrument panel, a digital display that is strongly reminiscent of those used in Formula 1.

This, like the rest of the car, will have several modes that change depending on how we intend to use the vehicle. In “RACE” mode, the screen has several lights along its upper edge illuminating the speedometer in green, red and blue, showing the optimal point to change gear. In this mode, the rear spoiler changes to a more aerodynamic position.

In Geneva we will be able to learn all the details surrounding the rival of the Ferrari F150 and the Porsche 918, while in the meantime we must make do with the video of its cabin.
