The Milan police has added to its fleet a Ferrari 458 Spider seized from the mafia, which will be used to teach children that crime does not pay

The more powerful the cars used by the police are, the easier it will be to catch the bad guys who try to escape justice. This is what they think in Italy, because we have already seen on some occasions the spectacular cars used by law enforcement in that country. The latest acquisition of the security forces of the city of Milan is a spectacular Ferrari 458 Spider, a convertible that comes from the shadowy world of the mafia.

In fact, this car was seized from the criminal organization and, instead of being sent to the scrapyard, as usually happens with these seized cars, it was claimed by the police and the fire brigade so that it could be used to improve the public relations of one of the two emergency services. It was taken to a local body shop and transformed into a police car.

The bodywork has been given the colours of the Milan police, a white background with green and red elements, which form part of a police styling that is impressive on a car of these characteristics. In addition, the workshop has added a support at the rear on which they have fitted the emergency lights, giving the image of a complete police car. And all of this, moreover, was done at no cost to the police, so this transformation has been free for them.

This car will not be used for patrolling, either in the city or on motorways, as happens with other similar vehicles. In this case, the Ferrari 458 Spider will be dedicated to events involving children. The intention is to take this supercar to schools and other activities to show the little ones that crime is not profitable, that all criminal acts end up having consequences and that the police always end up winning against the bad guys. What do you think of how this supercar looks, suitably prepared to serve and protect?
