F-Type Jaguar Convertibles Coupés
The Jaguar F-Type SVR is confirmed for the 2016 Geneva Motor Show [UPDATED: With video]

Just a few days ago we had the chance to see a good number of images of the Jaguar F-Type SVR, one of the most anticipated models of this year. Now, although we still don’t know too many details about what this spectacular car, coming from the Special Vehicle Operations division of Jaguar Land Rover, will offer, we have a date to see it up close and get access to all the real and concrete information about the car.
On March 1 the doors of the 2016 Geneva Motor Show open, and that is when the British model will be officially unveiled. It is likely that all the information about the car will be made public a little earlier. February 17 has been set as the date when the press kit for the F-Type SVR will be published. This will allow us, a few days before seeing it in person in all its glory, to confirm the specifications we expect from it.

For now we have several official photos of the car, showing it in various configurations, both as a coupé and as a convertible. What do we expect from this car? Well, that it delivers what a car produced by the exclusive division of Jaguar must not lack. The company has promised it will reach a top speed of 320 km/h, thanks to the 5.0-litre V8 engine already found in the F-Type R, capable of producing 567 CV of power.
Aesthetically it is also a spectacular car, and if all these figures are confirmed, we could be looking at one of the best coupés ever to come from the brand, thanks to the involvement of the Special Vehicle Operations division. We will hold on to all these specifications and the images, both those presented today and those that surfaced a few days ago. Will they be able to surprise us with something more at the official presentation? It could well be…
