The Jaguar XE SV Project 8 has fun at the Goodwood Festival

The Goodwood Festival of Speed is taking place, and we will be receiving a good number of spectacular images of everything on display at this event, which every year welcomes the arrival of summer. British visitors to this place so special for the automotive world, not only in England but worldwide, have been able to see spectacular cars. And one of them has been the Jaguar XE SV Project 8, which you can see in this image gallery shared from Carscoops.

This model, a limited edition, has been developed by Jaguar Land Rover Special Vehicle Operations, the brand’s special projects division. And it shows, because they have put real passion into it so that it becomes, in their own words, the “most powerful, agile and best-performing road car Jaguar has ever built”. That’s really something.

To achieve this, they worked on the design, which includes an adjustable front splitter, an aggressive diffuser and an adjustable rear spoiler. The exterior is completed with 20-inch forged aluminium wheels, which help create that sporty, dynamic look you can see in the gallery that accompanies this article.

The interior matches that image, with sport seats and a steering wheel that also has a sporty feel and is covered in Alcantara leather. The finishes are made of carbon fibre, which gives it an elegant yet active and dynamic look. One option the brand offers is removing the rear seats and replacing the front ones with ones made of carbon fibre, which are of higher quality and offer more safety and comfort.

As for the engine, it is a supercharged 5.0-litre V8 block that sends a maximum output of 600 CV to all four wheels, through an eight-speed automatic gearbox and an active electronic differential. The car reaches 100 km/h from a standstill in just 3.3 seconds, reaching a top speed of 321 km/h.

Only 300 units of this jewel will be built, the one you see tackling the Goodwood circuit, and it will be available from a price of around 170,000 euros. What do you think of the most powerful car ever built by Jaguar?
