The LeMans winner goes on sale: this Ferrari 499P Modificata with 870 CV
Ferrari is putting one of its latest gems up for sale at 5 million euros: the 499P Modificata, a limited single-off track car that made history by winning LeMans in June 2023

Ferrari has announced the sale of one of the most outstanding models in Maranello’s engineering, the 499P Modificata, a track car designed exclusively to compete in the prestigious LeMans race. This gem is a recreation of the successful 499P that triumphed at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in June 2023, and it represents the Italian brand’s commitment to the performance of its engines,
The official presentation of the Ferrari 499P Modificata took place at the impressive Mugello Circuit, during the Ferrari World Finals event in 2023, and now it may belong to a lucky owner willing to spend 5.1 million on this work of art.

Innovation in every detail
The 499P Modificata is not a conventional production car; this vehicle is based on a race car freed from the technical and sporting restrictions imposed by the FIA WEC. This has allowed Ferrari’s engineers to introduce a series of significant modifications that heighten the thrill of driving and make the car’s performance more accessible than ever, while giving drivers an experience similar to that of the drivers who sat behind the wheel of that single-seater.
Among the main technical innovations are active all-wheel drive, which can be engaged even at low speeds, and the “Push to Pass” function, which gives drivers a power boost of 120 kW when they need it most, together with tyres specifically developed by Pirelli to offer exceptional grip and an optimal driving experience.

Programme for exclusive customers
The 499P Modificata marks the start of the new Sport Prototipi Clienti programme from Ferrari, which joins the successful F1 Clienti programme. From 2024, the lucky owners of this exclusive car will be able to take part in a series of events at international circuits where Ferrari will take care of logistics, trackside assistance and maintenance, giving drivers a unique, worry-free experience.

870 CV of power for a LeMans winner
The 499P Modificata’s hybrid powertrain combines a powerful internal combustion V6 mounted at the rear with a electric motor on the front axle which, when the Push to Pash button behind the steering wheel is pressed, unlocks an additional 120 kW (163 CV) for 7 seconds, delivering a maximum output of 640 kW (870 CV) unrestricted by regulations and up from the original 707 CV. The energy recovery system (ERS) recharges the battery during deceleration and braking, drawing on Ferrari’s Formula 1 experience.

The carbon fibre monocoque chassis, together with state-of-the-art suspension and an advanced braking system, ensures exceptional handling and predictable driving in all conditions. The Pirelli-specific tyres, designed to warm up quickly and maintain a high level of grip, complete the 499P Modificata’s performance package.
Impressive design and aerodynamics
The design of the 499P Modificata was carefully crafted in collaboration with the Ferrari Styling Center, which is reflected in the combination of technical beauty and aerodynamics with simple, elegant lines that reflect the unmistakable DNA of Ferrari.

The rear of the vehicle is particularly striking, with a carbon fibre skin wrapping the powertrain and leaving the wheels and suspension exposed. The lower rear wing also houses a light bar that adds a decisive, minimalist character. The multiple air intake on the roof of the car contributes to the aerodynamic efficiency and performance.
