The Maextro S800 is the Chinese luxury car that has become the best-seller in the Asian country

But today, a year after its launch, the Maextro S800 has become a very best-selling model. So much so that it has become the best-selling luxury saloon over 100,000 dollars in China. And this has made the traditional luxury car manufacturers, who came from Europe, start to worry.

Chinese cars are not only conquering the European market, but in their own country they are also occupying the space that these brands traditionally held. The highest segment seemed to resist the introduction of domestic brands, but little by little, the offerings of these brands have come closer to their potential audience and have managed to win a share of the market.

According to data provided by Bloomberg, during the month of November, the Maextro S800 outsold the Porsche Panamera and the BMW 7 Series, although it had already reached the top sales spot in its category in September. Another of the models this car has overtaken has been the Mercedes S-Class and its Maybach variant, so it has rightfully become the king of luxury vehicles in the country.
