The "Mustang SUV" Ford 100% electric already has a presentation date!

Ford has something “big” up its sleeve. As a result, the secrecy surrounding the Ford 100% electric SUV, based on the popular Mustang, has been remarkable. Last Friday the official presentation date was revealed.

Recently we published an article telling you everything known so far about the new 100% electric SUV from Ford. It will be based on its most iconic model, the Mustang.

Although there is not much information about the model, it is known that it will hit the market at the end of 2020.

Regarding the details we know so far, the new Mustang electric SUV Ford will feature the Ford Mobile Charger. This system will allow us to charge our vehicle at a power ranging from 120 V, up to 240 V, which translates into 4.8 kilometres of range per hour of charging at 120 V, and 35 kilometres per hour that the vehicle is connected to the 240 V socket.

If customers need something faster, they can opt for the Ford Connected Charge Station, the classic wallbox, which will provide 51 km of range per hour of charging.

Its power output is unknown, although it is speculated to be around 500 CV. It is hardly surprising, considering we are talking about a version of the Mustang turned into an SUV.

Last Friday, 25 October, Ford revealed another really interesting detail, together with the photos attached to this article.

The official presentation of the Ford Mustang SUV will take place on 18 November 2019. Alongside this exciting information, the image showing the date also gives us a brief glimpse of the vehicle’s silhouette.

As can be seen, the front bears a particular resemblance to the classic Mustang. The rear is no different, with the brake lights practically identical to those of the powerful car.

Less than a month remains until we can see the complete design without sketches in all its splendour. By then we will be here to tell you everything about this highly anticipated model, which is expected to become a success, also in European territory.
