The new Audi R8 2019 will reach 100 km/h in 2.72 seconds!

With a new facelift from Audi, the new R8 presents itself as a more advanced version compared to its predecessor, more powerful, and with a design that retains the main features of the original.

Not only does it look more aggressive, it also seems more powerful, and yes, that design does not deceive.

Officially, the 2019 R8 accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.1 seconds, truly surprising figures. These numbers correspond to the Performance version. Its top speed will be 331 km/h and 325 km/h depending on the version.

Both versions have benefited from an increase in power. The more “modest” version will offer so much power that you won’t miss the extras of the Performance version. It will have 570 CV and 550 Nm of torque compared to the 620 CV and 580 Nm of torque offered by the R8 V10 Performance version.

However, the 5.2-litre V10 engine that the Audi R8 V10 Performance comes with as standard could produce even better numbers. Auditography has tested the new model to measure how long it takes to go from 0 to 100 km/h, concluding with a surprising time of 2.7 seconds.

And that’s not all, since before the vehicle arrives in the various markets, the German manufacturer wants to put the model to the test at the Spanish Ascari circuit.
