The new concept from Karma and Pininfarina will be unveiled during the Shanghai Motor Show
The new Karma and Pininfarina concept will be a two-door coupé with a hidden door-opening system. It will be joined by the Karma Revero and the Concept Vision.

Karma Automotive has just released a new image of the vehicle it will debut during the upcoming Shanghai Auto Show, which opens next week. The new teaser of the concept designed by Pininfarina reveals some lines of its silhouette.
So far, very few details are known about the Karma concept designed by Pininfarina. This first look has revealed some information about the secret Karma and Pininfarina concept. The front features LED headlights and daytime running lights. In addition, the shadows in the image expose what could be two enormous air intakes.

The new Karma and Pininfarina teaser also shows some of the side lines of the model. The first thing that stands out is that the secret Karma concept is a two-door coupé. This immediately sets it apart from the company’s most exclusive production car, the Karma Revero, which has four doors.
The new Karma and Pininfarina preview also reveals the mirrors, the silver wheels and a hidden door-opening system. In addition, the side windows also feature silver details.
Karma and Pininfarina: their concept will be unveiled in Shanghai
The secret Karma Automotive and Pininfarina concept will be accompanied, at the Shanghai Auto Show, by two new models. The first and possibly the most important is the next-generation Karma Revero. This car has been driven in test mode on the roads of California.

Furthermore, it has been announced in recent days that this model will feature a new lithium-ion battery pack with a rear traction module and a three-cylinder TwinPowerTurbo engine of BMW that will act as a generator. Besides presenting the new Karma Revero, the manufacturer will take the opportunity to unveil the concept called Vision.
Only a single image of this model has been seen, but it revealed the position of the rear lights. These will span the entire width of the prototype. In addition, the reverse light is placed horizontally at the base of the bumper. It also has no conventional rear-view mirrors; the manufacturer has replaced them with tiny cameras.
Next-generation Karma Revero
One of the big and highly anticipated surprises of the upcoming Shanghai Auto Show is the public debut of the new Karma Revero. It will be fully electric and “promises to be much faster, smarter and more impressive”, as Karma Automotive assures.
The legendary Karma electric will include a new, more powerful lithium-ion battery pack and a new dual electric motor system on the rear axle. Although there are no official figures, some sources claim it will accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds. It could deliver around 409 CV and 1,329 Nm of maximum torque. Will it use the same engine as the upgraded BMW i8?

According to these figures, the renewed Karma electric could exceed the 480 kilometres of range that its predecessor currently offers.
