Bugatti could be developing a coupé-style SUV based on the Lamborghini Urus
Lamborghini’s future SUV inspired by the Lamborghini Urus would use a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 producing 650 CV and 850 Nm of maximum torque.

Bugatti could be developing a coupé-style SUV based on the Lamborghini Urus. Stephan Winkelmann, CEO of Bugatti, has openly admitted that the company is ready to develop a second model and that it could consider the idea of creating a coupé-style SUV.
Although little is known about the possible future SUV from Bugatti, some sources claim it could be based on the Lamborghini Urus. The Lamborghini SUV was overseen by Stephan Winkelmann himself when he was head of the bull brand. Everything points to the two sharing some components, but the Bugatti version would be a two-door model smaller and lighter than the current Lamborghini Urus.
Bugatti could be developing a coupé-style SUV based on the Lamborghini Urus that would use the 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 producing 650 CV and 850 Nm of maximum torque. However, the future SUV from Bugatti could also feature a hybrid system that would bring its combined power figures even higher.

For the moment there is no specific information, but the advanced powertrain would allow the new Bugatti model to easily outperform the Lamborghini Urus. It could accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.6 seconds and reach a top speed of 305 km/h.
2023, the key date
If everything goes according to plan, the Bugatti SUV inspired by the Lamborghini Urus could enter production from 2023 and 800 units would be built per year. There are many rumours surrounding this possible collaboration. It is still pending approval, and there is no guarantee that the project will go ahead.
The possible Bugatti SUV inspired by the Lamborghini Urus could face competition from within the same manufacturer, as some sources claim the Italian brand is planning a possible revival of the Bugatti Royale. This model is said to be fully electric and would use a stretched version of the Porsche Taycan platform. Its launch could be scheduled for 2023 and it would offer a combined power output of 880 CV.
All these rumours suggest that Bugatti is considering several new options to bring its second vehicle to market, but for now there is not enough information available about which proposal will ultimately be carried out. Furthermore, once the decision is made, it would receive the blessing of the Volkswagen Group to bring forward its production.

Lamborghini Urus
The future Bugatti coupé-style SUV could be inspired by the Lamborghini Urus. This new coupé could go head to head with the Audi Q7, the Porsche Cayenne or the Bentley Bentayga. The high-performance SUV from Lamborghini is built on the MLB Evo platform and uses high-strength steel and aluminium in the development of its chassis.

It is important to highlight that it has inherited some of the sporting technologies, such as the steering system of the Lamborghini Aventador S and up to six driving modes. It features a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 with 650 CV and a maximum torque of 850 Nm. This allows it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.6 seconds and reach its top speed of 305 km/h.
