Presented in June 2021, the Ford Puma ST Gold Edition was launched as a new special edition designed directly by the brand’s fans, through a series of polls in which they voted for their favourite design.

With this very appealing hook, the Ford sports SUV, besides sporting a very muscular design, featured numerous exclusive details both inside and out, such as black leather upholstery with gold accents, alloy wheels also painted gold, and longitudinal stripes that gave it a very attractive sporty edge.

More efficient and affordable

Now, the American brand has just announced the launch of this new special edition for the ST-Line versions of the model, which, in addition to being offered with the 155 CV engines with hybrid technology and therefore with an ECO label, will also be available at a lower price. Specifically, from €31,357 for variants with the six-speed manual gearbox, and from €33,080 for those fitted with the seven-speed Powershift automatic gearbox.

For now, Ford has not published any image of the final design of the new Puma ST-Line X Gold, although taking the Puma ST Gold Edition as a reference, it would be most logical for it to feature gold-coloured elements that give it a distinctive look compared with the conventional versions.

Generous equipment

Being based on the ST-Line trim level, they will feature 18-inch alloy wheels, the sporty exterior pack adding elements such as red brake calipers and more sporty bumpers, Full-LED lighting, tinted glass, and a long list of driver assistance systems such as lane change assist, adaptive cruise control with speed limiter, front and rear sensors, a rear-view camera, and a fully digital 12.3-inch instrument cluster.

In addition, the interior also includes seats with mixed cloth and leather upholstery, a leather-trimmed gear knob and handbrake, wireless charging, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, an auto-dimming interior rearview mirror, and multiple safety airbags.
